Email marketing that turns the list you already own into booked work.

Ad accounts rent attention. Your email list is the one audience you own outright — and in most service businesses it sits untouched between the occasional newsletter. We run the campaigns, build the lifecycle flows, repair the deliverability, and reactivate the names already sitting in your database. Reported in booked jobs, not open rates.

A list is an asset that decays if you never send to it.

Every quote you did not win, every job you finished, every form fill that went nowhere — those addresses are still yours, and reaching them again costs you nothing in media. But a list that has not been mailed in a year is half dead. Addresses have gone stale, the sending domain has no reputation behind it, and the inbox providers have no reason to trust you. Getting email working again runs in a fixed order, and the first campaign is not the first step.

STEP 01

Clean the list

We pull every contact out of the CRM, the invoicing software, and the spreadsheets on somebody's desktop, then dedupe, verify, and suppress. Mailing dead addresses is the fastest way to get filtered, so this happens before anything is written.

STEP 02

Fix the sending domain

SPF, DKIM, and DMARC configured properly, a dedicated sending subdomain where it makes sense, and reputation warmed in stages. Most email programs that quietly fail, fail here rather than in the copy.

STEP 03

Segment by job

A past customer who paid for a full replacement and a lead who priced a small repair last spring should not get the same email. The list gets split by service line, job value, stage, and recency before a single send goes out.

ONGOING

Reactivate, then keep a rhythm

The reactivation campaign goes to the segments most likely to buy again. After that, a standing schedule of campaigns and triggered flows keeps the list warm, so the next offer never has to start from cold.

What our email marketing services include.

This is a managed service, not a platform login and a template library. We write the emails, build the segments, configure the sending infrastructure, and send on a schedule you approve.

01

Campaigns and promotional sends

A standing calendar of campaigns written for your services and your season — offers, availability, work you have just finished, and the reasons a past customer would call you again. Sent to segments rather than to everyone, so the list does not burn out to fill a schedule.

  • Monthly campaign calendar
  • Copy, build, and send handled for you
  • Seasonal and offer-led sends
  • Plain-text and designed formats tested against each other
02

Lifecycle flows

The emails that fire off a trigger instead of a calendar — a new inquiry, a quote sent, a job completed, a service falling due. The first one lands in seconds, not the next morning, paired with SMS so a new inquiry hears from you before they call the next company on their list. They run continuously in the background and stop the moment the contact replies or books.

  • New inquiry and quote follow-up
  • Post-job review and referral requests
  • Repeat-service and seasonal reminders
  • Triggered sends run by our marketing automation build
03

Database reactivation

Every old lead and past customer, segmented and re-approached with an actual reason to come back. The acquisition cost on these names is already sunk, which usually makes reactivation the cheapest work you will book all year.

  • Win-back campaigns by segment
  • Revival of quotes that went quiet
  • Referral and repeat-purchase requests
  • Ongoing suppression of contacts who never engage
04

List segmentation

Roof replacements and gutter cleans are not the same customer, and a full remodel is not a small repair. Lists get split by service line, job value, stage, and how recently the contact last heard from you, so the message fits the person reading it.

  • Splits by service line and job value
  • Stage-based segments: lead, quoted, customer
  • Engagement and recency tiers
  • Territory segments where service areas differ
05

Deliverability and domain setup

SPF, DKIM, and DMARC configured properly, sending reputation warmed rather than blasted, and inbox placement checked against the major providers. An email has to arrive before it can do anything else.

  • SPF, DKIM, and DMARC records
  • Dedicated sending domain setup
  • Warm-up and volume pacing
  • Bounce, complaint, and placement monitoring
06

Reporting in revenue

Opens are a diagnostic. Clicks are a diagnostic. What gets reported is replies, booked calls, and closed jobs, traced back to the campaign or the flow that produced them.

  • Revenue by campaign and by flow
  • List growth and unsubscribe rates
  • Deliverability and placement trends
  • Attribution built on our tracking and analytics setup

How the engagement runs.

01

Deliverability gets fixed before a word is written

There is no point improving a subject line for an inbox you never reach. Authentication, list hygiene, and sending reputation are handled first, and early campaigns go out at deliberately small volume while the domain earns its way up. It is slower at the start, and it is the reason the campaigns after it land.

02

The list stays yours

Your contact database is your asset, not ours. It lives in a sending platform your business owns and pays for, it exports on request, and nothing about it is held hostage if you stop working with us. We have never understood the agencies that do it the other way.

03

We send less than most agencies want to

A list mailed every other day stops opening and starts unsubscribing, and you only get to spend that goodwill once. We would rather send fewer, better-targeted campaigns to segments with a reason to hear from you than protect a volume number at the cost of the asset underneath it.

04

Automation runs the triggered half

Campaigns are scheduled. Flows are triggered. The triggered half of the program is built on the same infrastructure as our marketing automation work, so the email, the text message, and the CRM record move together instead of living in three disconnected tools that each think they are in charge.

Who this is built for.

Our email marketing services suit service businesses with some history behind them — home improvement and renovation contractors, window, roofing, and exterior trades, professional services firms, and event and venue operators across Philadelphia and the PA/NJ/DE tri-state area. If you have traded long enough to have a few hundred old quotes and past customers on file, and a single job is worth four figures or more, there is already money sitting in that list. Most clients run this alongside marketing automation, which owns the triggered sends and the CRM record while the email program owns the campaigns and the segmentation.

It is a poor first investment for a business that does not have a list yet. If you are starting from a few dozen contacts, the honest answer is that paid advertising or SEO will build the audience faster than email can work it, and we will say that on the call rather than sell you a program with nobody to send to. Where the traffic and the inquiries already exist but too few of them convert, conversion rate optimization usually pays back sooner than another campaign.

You can see how the follow-up layer sits underneath the media numbers on the Smart Shield Windows case study, where cost per lead fell from $101.73 to $34.45, and on the New Look Painting case study, where $31,984 in spend produced $148,720 in signed work. Neither of those is an email result on its own and we will not present it as one — but neither of them happens without something following up.

Common questions.

Does email marketing still work for a local service business?

For most of them it is the highest-return channel they are not using. You are not building a newsletter audience - you are following up on quotes that went quiet and re-approaching customers who already paid you once. That list is small, warm, and costs almost nothing to reach.

How fast should the first email go out after a new enquiry?

Within seconds, not the next morning. Most service enquiries go to three or four companies at once, and the one that replies first usually gets the job. We pair the instant email with an SMS so you reach people who never open email on their phone.

Will this land in spam?

Not if the domain is set up properly. SPF, DKIM and DMARC get configured before anything sends, the sending reputation is warmed gradually, and we check inbox placement rather than assuming it. Deliverability is the part most agencies skip and it is the part that decides whether the work was worth paying for.

What do you actually report on?

Replies, booked calls and closed jobs, attributed back to the sequence that produced them. Opens and clicks are diagnostics we use to fix a sequence, not the number we put in front of you.
