The challenge
Submersion Festival launched a brand-new ad account with no history — no pixel data, no seasoned audiences, no past purchasers to build on. And with a fixed festival date, there was no time for a slow warm-up: every week of learning had to pay for itself.
What we did
We built and scaled campaigns from scratch on Meta, optimizing against actual ticket purchases from day one. Tracking went in before the first dollar of spend, so every decision ran on real conversion data instead of platform estimates.
As winners emerged we scaled into them, holding budget on the campaigns that kept returning and cutting the ones that did not.
The results
Across 2026, $9,036 in ad spend returned $37,357 in tracked ticket revenue — a 4.13x return.
